LAN Associates Electrical Engineering

LAN Associates Electrical Engineering team is responsible for the design of the electrical infrastructure of new and/or renovation projects.  These projects have included :

• Athletic Field/Exterior Site Lighting
• Emergency Generator Installations
• Emergency Lighting & Exit Signs
• Ventilation Control Systems
• Heating System Controls Replacement/Upgrades
• HVAC System Controls
• Asbestos Abatement Design
• Boiler Replacements
• Clock, Telephone, Intercom & PA Systems

Site lighting projects have included:

• Accent Exterior Lighting
• Facility’s Parking Lighting for Schools
• Sports Facility Lighting (soccer, baseball & football fields)

Emergency Power Systems have included generators that have been sized to accommodate strictly life safety electrical loads. Back up power systems have been designed, and installed, to supply 100% facility requirements in the event of interruption from normal utility electrical sources.

Our team conducts Electrical System Studies.  These include coordination studies on electrical systems for the 69 KV to 480 Volt operation levels. Our department has experience in EMF (Electro Magnetic Field) studies. The team does electrical reviews and assessments of facility’s existing building power systems.

The Electrical Engineering Department has done extensive work with specifying and incorporating Public Address Systems, Clock Systems and Security Systems as required by clients.
